The Blen team has prepared the third Blen Art exhibition and this magazine to honor the noble artist Skunder Boghossian. We thank him for giving not only Ethiopia’s but also the whole Africa’s and the Black Diaspora’s stained reputation a break. The international community celebrated Skunder’s Art and he advocated international justice with attention he earned for being one of the pioneers who modernize African Art. To pay him this tribute is our honor.

To make up for the chance we lost to celebrate him when he was alive, we have gathered and presented information about this delightful individual from his family, friends, colleagues and students for our reader.

The Blen team also presents the works of emerging and established artists in Ethiopia and in the Untied States, in the honor of Skunder. We have presented artistic activates of few individuals in the Washington DC metropolitan area.

Ethiopia is blessed with Art. And we plan to expose and document our artists’ work and life stories. This first annual Blen Art & Entertainment magazine and the third Blen Art Show is the result of collaboration with many dedicated artists, writers, editors, coordinators, designers, sponsors, and people who share information generously. Please lend your hand in any way you can for our future exhibition and publications.
